The swimsuit fit a little smaller than expected. It is DEFINITELY shapewear. Yes, I realize swimsuits are tight, but this one was so challenging to actually get on my body. I feel like I got a workout just putting it on, so maybe that's an added benefit? I thought about rating this 4/5, but then I considered how it's not the swimsuit's fault that I have the body type I do! I love the pop of color, and the cutout in front is alluring yet still classy.
I am always worried when I order clothing online, but especially a swimsuit. I lucked out with this one! I always order a size or two up in swimsuits so I ordered a large and it fits perfectly. I am 510 and 145 pounds with a long torso and 38DD bust. At first when I started to pull it on I thought it was going to be too small, but thats just the way it is made to ensure everything gets tucked in and smoothed out. It kind of reminds me of spanx, just in a swimsuit! It holds my chest in securely and really keeps my tummy firmly tucked in too. Its plenty long enough, which is usually a challenge for me. It is not too tight on the shoulders either. If you actually like to swim and play in he water, you will love this because you dont have to worry about anything falling out or getting exposed by accident. Love this suit!
This swimsuit is ADORABLE. For reference, I am 55, about 185lbs, apple shaped, and I ordered an XL. It was a snug fit, but it fit! I love how this swimsuit really holds everything in in the tummy area and the material is not too thin at all. I was worried about the cutout part and praying that my fat didnt squeeze through that circular cutout part in the front it did NOT! YAY! The swimsuit looks super cute on, and the black is very slimming. Now the chest area doesnt lift, but it does conceal your chest comfortably. You can feel there are thin, little pad inserts inside the chest area. The coverage on the backside is great, leaving nothing too exposed. Im very happy with this swimsuit.
I am a short, thick girl who gave birth 4 times, so I find it challenging to find something that looks flattering on me. This swimsuit is as good as it gets.Putting it on is a bit challenging, but if you scrunch it up and gradually pull it up over your body, you can make needed adjustments once its in place.It really holds you in and flattens your tummy while highlighting your chest. I actually plan to wear it as a top with jeans, as it holds in the bra bulge and looks better than wearing a shirt with a bra.I did wash this suit before I tried it on and it held up well in the normal cycle. I did not put it in the dryer as I dont put many of my clothes in the dryer. It air-dried pretty quickly, a bonus for a bathing suit.Overall, I would recommend this swimsuit to anyone, whether you have a lot or just a little to hold in.
